Hapi K. is a Certified Senior Translator and an IELTS and TCF Canada language trainer. She holds a Master’s degree in Language and Translation, including French, English, Spanish, and German, and has successfully translated over 5,000 documents ranging from academic transcripts, bank statements, sponsorship letters, birth certificates, and more. With her expertise, Hapi ensures that language barriers do not prevent you from making your dreams come true.
The journey of Africa Global Study began with the personal experiences of its founder, Frank Fotso. After completing his college education, he found himself grappling with uncertainty about his higher education path. Torn between fulfilling parental expectations and following his own passion, Frank eventually decided to pursue mechanical engineering in the UK, though still unsure if it was the right choice of country, city, university, and course for him.
Upon arriving in the UK, Frank faced a multitude of challenges. Knowing no one and lacking a support system, he struggled to adapt to the new culture, navigate the unfamiliar education system, cope with the harsh weather, understand the local accents, and find employment opportunities. Despite these obstacles and costly mistakes along the way, Frank persevered.
His determination and resilience eventually led him to become an International Student Ambassador for his university. In this role, he had the opportunity to travel to colleges across the UK, counseling students on making informed decisions about their higher education and future careers. Additionally, he provided valuable support to new international students, helping them integrate into the UK and university life.
After graduating and securing an engineering job in the Oil and Gas sector, Frank’s passion for giving back to future international students inspired him to establish Africa Global Study. Drawing from his own experiences, he aimed to provide the guiding hand he wished he had – supporting students from the initial decision-making stages of where and what to study, all the way through to helping them settle and find employment abroad.
With Africa Global Study, Frank’s vision is to offer comprehensive assistance, ensuring that aspiring international students from Africa can pursue their dreams of global education without facing the same challenges he encountered. The company is dedicated to empowering students with the resources, guidance, and support they need to navigate the study abroad journey successfully.
